Moulin Cacaud sits on the edge of the quiet village of La Chapelle Gresignac, surrounded by the beautiful unspoilt countryside of the Dordogne and just a few minutes drive from amenities, bars and restaurants. Moulin Cacaud is on the site of an old walnut and flour mill. Set in 7 acres of gardens and green fields the Moulin offers the self-contained Summer House a large, bright and airy holiday home designed to sleep up to eight people. In addition to the Summer House a seperate modern apartment is also available for renting.
Its south facing position means the pool enjoys sunshine all day long. The pool is for the exclusive use of guests using the Summer House.
It has a solar shower, barbeque facilities and plenty of pool side furniture, so guests can enjoy the outdoor life. There is outdoor lighting which means in the evening you can sit by the pool with a glass of wine and enjoy the clear star filled skies of the Dordogne.
The spacious and comfortable house includes a very large living room which has ample seating, TV with Free Sat UK and international channels, DVD player and other facilities.
The kitchen has a large breakfast table, hob, oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher and everything else you would expect of a well equipped kitchen. A seperate dining room gives families the opportunity to enjoy an evening meal and reflect on the days activities.
Upstairs you will find the four bright bedrooms. Two of the rooms are doubles with kingsize beds and the other two are twin rooms. The second of these rooms would ideally suit young children. The two doubles have ensuite facilities. All rooms are well furnished and bright, with two of the main bedrooms overlooking the pool and views of the lovely countryside. In addition to the ensuite facilities there is a large family shower room with double hand basins and a heated towel rail.
There are a number of bicycles for guests to use along with table tennis and in the house there are plenty of games (including Playstation 3 console and games) and books for the children to enjoy. There is free wi-fi connectivity throughout. A large drive in front of the house provides plenty of parking space for cars, campers or caravans.
The seperate apartment (L'Apartement) which sleeps two is also available to rent via Booking.com and Airbnb and is ideal for a holiday break or for those travelling on business. Fully equipped kitchenette, salon with UK and international television and a twin bedroom/shower ensuite on a mezzanine floor. Guests using the L'Apartement can also enjoy the use of the garden areas equipped with garden furniture and barbeque facilities.
